Congrats!!  Please email me your address asap so I can send that to you.

Yesterday was a pleasant day for a Friday.

Breakfast
Kashi Go Lean, Kashi Honey Sunshine, Galaxy Granola, Berries, Almond Milk, Sun Warrior Vanilla

My good friend and co-worker decided to sneak out of the office and go out for a fantastic lunch.  This is becoming one of my favorite things to do on a Friday.

We went to my favorite Thai restaurant, Chalits.

I've posted about this place before but I have to say it again, this Thai food exceeds all Thai food I've ever had.  They specialize in "the lighter side of Thai" and everything is so light, fresh and entirely delicious.

I had the Thai Papaya Salad with Grilled Shrimp.

And also asked for a side of their incredible homemade brown rice.

Audi had the Pineapple Fried Rice.

We also got Thai Iced Coffees to take back to work with us. I forgot to take a picture but these were AMAZING!  The best Iced Coffee I think I've ever had.  I wasn't sure I've ever had a Thai Iced Coffee before and wasn't sure what made it so good so when I got back to work I googled it to see what it contained.

"Thai iced coffee is brewed using strong black coffee, sweetened with sugar, heavy cream (or half-and-half) and cardamom, and quickly cooled and served over ice. Some variations are brewed using espresso. Thai iced coffee can be served with whipped cream on top for a layered effect, and garnished with cinnamon, vanilla and/or anise. It is a common menu item at Thai restaurants and works well after a spicy meal." -Wikipedia

Mine was made with soymilk.  I was so happy that they offered soymilk.

We had plans to go to Jen and Brian's for dinner.

Jen cooked up a bunch of great BBQ eats including Grilled Chicken Sausages, Pasta Salad, Corn on the Cob, Guacamole and veggies.  I brought along a salad to complete the meal.

My plate had a tasting of everything (minus the chicken sausage).

After dinner, we all headed outside to grill some marshmallows.

We ended up sitting by the fire for hours just chatting and relaxing.  It was a wonderful evening!

Okay, gotta run.  Body Pump and then off to the Farmers Market with my dad.

Have a great day everyone!!
