Exhausted but Excited

Running on 2 hours of sleep, so forgive me if this post is a bit misunderstood.

I woke up starving.  I guess after 17 hours on my feet without much food finally caught up this morning. My brain and tummy reminded me it needed good food fast.

Organic Vanilla Almond Crunch Cereal, Berries, Vanilla Chobani, 1/2 Banana, Vanilla Almond Butter

This put me back on the right digestive track and gave me just enough energy for a very long and event filled day of work.

It was hard and I felt so tired I was nauseous but I just kept thinking how much of a wimp I was being compared to what my sister just went through the day before.  If she could endure 22 hours of labor on no sleep and no food for 48 hours, I could get through a day feeling significantly lethargic.

When I finally got home from work, I was able to lay down a bit and relax before my appetite came raging again around 5pm.  Dinner was started earlier due to this.

I remembered it was Wednesday, which meant, BFD! Pleasant surprise!

I've been loving this sammie lately so I figured why not make a BFD version of it.

2 Slices Ezikle Cinnamon Raisin Bread, Spinach, Dijon, Goat Cheese, Sliced Peach, Smoked Salmon, Scrambled Egg

With Roasted Brussle Sprouts.

After dinner, Toly asked me if I was up for paying Baby Wes a visit.

Ummmm…….

YES!!!

Even though I was so pooped it hurt to keep my eyes open, nothing could deter me from an opportunity to hold this little angel.

Haha, can you tell how tired I am?

Uncle Toy

PS- He's still perfect!

Goodnight!!!!

I hope you get some deep rest though, and veg out or something hehehe. I always love your BFD recipes, and just those special traditions you have. Not a lot of people stick to them. Also that vanilla almond butter sounds really tasty! I'm not sure I've seen that before!

XOXO love! Don't forget to submit your post my star! ;)

  3. Awww congratulations on being an Aunt! How exciting.

Don't feel like a wuss compared to your sister. I mean holy smokes she was in LABOR, but 2 hours? I get nauseous, cranky and sick after only 5 hours of sleep. You may whine and complain all that you want about it.
