Making Fridays Fantastic

I always make a conscious effort to ensure that my Friday is the absolute best day of the week.  But to do this, it must start off on a good note.

Fridays are also my off day from running so I cross train by doing the ET followed by a glorious yoga workout.  Oh my, such a treat for my body!  I am still completely loving the Jillian Michael's Yoga Meltdown.  I felt like puddy when it was over.

Another way I ensure a fabulous Friday….with a fabulous breakfast.

Even though I aim for perfection every day with my breakfasts, on Fridays, I mix it up with something extra-ordinary!

Banana Split Waffles

2 Natures Path Waffles, Pineapple Chobani, 1/2 Mashed Banana, Strawberries, Blueberries, Pecans, Dark Chocolate AB drizzle

Pretty perfect!

Work was rather exciting today but also quite busy. I had a presentation scheduled at 1pm so I quickly gobbled lunch at my desk before I had to leave.

Smoke Salmon, Spinach, Veggie Cream Cheese, Dijon, Sprouts, Capers on an Everything Bagel Thin

With Carrot sticks and about 3 pounds of cherries.

I was so happy when the clock struck 4pm and the weekend train rolled around.

When I got home, Toly and I decided to head over to City Island and walk around for awhile.  It was so beautiful out today and we just wanted to enjoy the nice day.

After we killed some time at the Island, we headed over to Dukes and enjoyed a beer on the deck before my parents and sister and her husband arrived.  We met them for dinner to celebrate my sister's b-day which is tomorrow!

Brooke's tradition is to go to Dukes every year on her birthday and get their famous Crab Pretzel.

Which she graciously shared with the table.

I ordered the Crab Cake Salad with green beans, portobello mushrooms, tomatoes, gorgonzola and cucumbers.

And of course, my dad wanted to make the blog!  He is so adorable! :)

Dinner was great and it was nice to spend the night with my family and especially celebrate my sister's birthday!

Okay, so I told you yesterday that I have news and I'm not going to keep you waiting any longer.

The BIG news that I've been keeping……

We are MOVING!

Not far, actually, about a mile from where we are now.  But we are building a new house!!!!  It's crazy, it still hasn't really hit me that our house is for sale and over the next few months, we will be customizing our dream home.

Quite the adventure is ahead of us!

Well, tomorrow is another great day.  I'm meeting my dad and sister for our monthly FD (father/daughter) breakfast, going to the farmers market for some berry picking, and then enjoying a cookout/pool party with our friends.

Summer lovin'!

PS- There is still time to enter my giveaway!  Winner will be announced tomorrow!
