My Words are Few

Not many words tonight, just pictures….

This was not dessert.

This was breakfast.

Looks like it should be dessert, but no….it was indeed consumed at 7am and qualified as my most important meal of the day.

Strawberry Split Waffles
  • 2 Nature's path Red Berry Waffles
  • Pineapple Greek Yogurt
  • Banana Slices
  • Strawberry Slices
  • Dark Chocolate Almond Butter Drizzle
  • Pecans

This might as well have been dessert, because it sure tasted like pure heaven.

Lunch today was just as glorious.

Smoked Salmon on Toasted Multigrain Bread with Laughing Cow, Avocado, Capers and Maple Dijon.

With a side salad….

Incredible!

After work, Toly and I had a much desired date night.  First, we hit up BJ's for some bulk shopping.  Yes, this was indeed part of our date.

A successful shopping trip requires a reward….

Drinks on the deck at Flinchy's.

We decided to forgo the dinner menu here and headed down the street to Brewhouse, which had better food and a better deck.

Toly was starving when we sat down, so I convinced him to order an appetizer.

The perogis were on special tonight.

For my meal, I had the Tuscan Seared Tuna Salad….

It was pretty awesome.

Instead of ending the night, we kept it rolling with some ice cream.

It was our first Brusters trip of the season.  Oh how we've missed it.

White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle is the best ice cream I have ever had!

Such a fun date night!

  6. Sometimes dessert for breakfast is just necessary...and a Bruster's run is just mandatory! I haven't been there yet this season, I need to get my dad to take me on a date there sometime soon :) Hope you have a great weekend love!!

  8. Man, do I love Brusters! I actually worked there all through high school and while you'd think I'd be sick of it, I still LOVE going there. I tried the new tiramisu flavor recently. Delicious!
