Usual day here. Really, not very exciting, so if you decide to leave now, I will not be offended. But, I will still go on because that is what I do……
I've been having a harder time waking up in the mornings and I think that's actually a good sign that I'm getting good night's rest. Now that all those weeks of waking up multiple times throughout the night are behind me, I'm finally enjoying some glorious deep sleeps. The only downside is it makes hopping out of bed at 4:15am more of a struggle.
I managed out of bed and managed to run 5 miles. Not the best run today, my legs felt very heavy and I started to notice a little pain in my IT band again, but I attribute this all to the fact that I wore 4 in stilettos to work the day before only proving the conception that beauty is indeed pain!
Breakfast!
1/4 Cup Cinnamon H2H, 1/4 Cup Cinnamon Puffins, 1/4 C Multigrain Cheerios, Vanilla Oikos, Berries, 1/2 Banana and flax with smide of cinnamon PB
Sweet Toast (Cottage Cheese and Jam)
Lunch!
I had lunch with a good friend and co-worker of mine today. We went to one of our favorites…Juice and Java for some salads and smoothies.
Greek Salad with Veggie Burger
Strawberry Banana Pineapple Smoothie
Just an fyi…..a salad and a smoothie make a perfect lunch.
Dinner!
I'm not quite sure what to call this bowl so I will just let the picture do the talking….
Spinach, Roasted Veggies (eggplant, mushrooms, broccoli, artichokes) Annie's Mac with pesto, TJ's White Beans with Tomato Sauce, and feta
What you'd like to call it, it was darn good!
Toly's bowl was mac and cheese with sausage and bacon. A growing boy's meal for sure!
So as you can see, my day was nothing out of the ordinary. It was good, but just a typical Tuesday.
I still can't believe you get up at 4:15am...I am going to bed closer and closer to that time these days. Your veggie bowl dinners are the most intriguing and delicious looking. Roasted veggies are da best.

ReplyDeletecannot believe that you wake up at 4:15 -- i wake up at 5:15 and even then i feel like i'm the only one awake in the world - what time do you go to bed?! i have a hard time getting in bed by 10:30! kudos to you girl, impressive!

ReplyDeleteSince I've been home, I wake up early and can't get back to sleep, so I know where you're coming from when you say a deep sleep means it's harder to wake up!! Glad you've been getting some much needed ZZZ's though :)
