Insanity to the Max

Ever so often, I wake up on a Friday morning feeling compelled to take on the full day ahead.  It's rare, because usually by Friday, I'm dragging, but today, I was up, alert, and motivated to tackle the hardest Insanity workout yet….Max Interval Circuit.  I spent an hour on the ET and then faced Shawn T with his craziness.  Oh. My. Gosh.  It kicked my butt and then left me feeling exhausted for the rest of the day (but in a good way).

I am LOVING these Insanity workouts.  Super challenging and definitely challenging enough to merit a full day's workout.

Breakfast was eaten to properly refuel.

Blueberry Cinnamon Flax Oatmeal, Bluberry Chobani, Banana, Blueberries, TJ's PB, Banana Bread

My morning was busy and I had a short window of time to throw down lunch in between teaching today.

Salad with Spinach, Tomatoes, Broccoli, Olives, Zucchini, Cottage Cheese, Balsamic

I have been very excited to try this new product I recently purchased.

I've heard good things and one of my FAVORITE frozen foods is Amy's Spinach and Feta Pocket so I figured this had to come close.

The pretzel is filled with spinach and gooey feta.  It's delicious! I still think I like the Amy's pocket just a little more, but I would definitely buy this again.

After a what seemed like a long day of work, I came home and was so happy to see Toly was feeling much better.  We knew we both needed to get out.

After some errands we had to run with the house, we decided to grab dinner at The Pizza Grille.

Wine was in order on this Friday.

Toly and I split the Fruit and Nut Salad. (Chopped Romaine, Dried Cherries, Walnut, Feta)

For my pizza, I chose the Spicy Shrimp with no cheese.  It was perfect and just what I was in the mood for.

All in all, it was a good day.  I'm so happy it's the weekend once again and looking forward to getting some much needed rest.  I've been going hard all week and definitely need a day or two to sleep in.

Wishing you all a great night! :)

  3. Yes...your pizza looks great! I often find myself not wanting a lot of cheese on my pizzas. I should just go ahead and make a cheeseless one! Thank you for sharing your day with me. I hope you have a great weekend. I'm ready for some warmth!

  9. @kissmybroccoliI think the picture makes it look larger than it was. It was a decent size but not as big as it looks.

  10. WORD!!!! That pretzel looks SO good!! I love stuffed pretzels. In Korea's 7-eleven, they sell this pretzel stuffed with honey and mozzarella cheese. It's heavenly.
