Oh, Happy Day!!

After one of the most stressful weeks of my life, I'm happy to say I made it though and now I have nothing but good news to share.

First…...

I passed!!!

I received my certificate in the mail today for the AAAI/ISMA Aerobic Fitness Instructor Certification.  If you remember, I attended the conference back in the beginning of October to receive my credits and become certified.  After waiting almost a month, I just found out that I passed the exam today.

Second…..

We BROKE GROUND!!!!

I haven't really shared any of the current mishaps with the house, but after weeks of overwhelming issues with the mortgage, we finally settled on the new land and the hole has been dug!  It seemed as though we had hit a huge wall in the process and spent weeks trying to overcome some major hurdles but, happy to say, it's okay now and we are well on our way to the dream house.  3 months in counting!

Yesterday was crazy.  I woke up and started things off with breakfast.

Raisin Bran, PB Puffins, Blueberry Chobani, Banana, Blueberries, 1/2 Crumbled Banana Nut Vita Top with Banana PB

I had some presentations to conduct in the morning but brought my friend Jess along to help out.  I love having good friends at work and I especially love when they can help me with presentations.

We had a little trip ahead of us so we decided to stop for coffee on the way.

Afterwards, I rushed to the Realtors office to sign the papers for closing.  On the way, I shoved down this…..

Smoked Salmon, Avocado, Dijon, Laughing Cow, Cran Apple Butter

Not a very glamourous lunch but it tasted awesome and did the trick. Sammies make the best option for eating-while-driving, which is highly try to avoid, but sometimes, you just don't have a choice.

After what seemed like a very long but satisfying day, I came home and got ready to play baby-sitter for the evening.

Jen asked if Toly and I would mind coming over and hanging with the kids while we was at a meeting for the night.

This was a fantastic opportunity for Toly and I to enjoy a date night so we agreed without any hesitation.

Toly spent a little time playing with Conner before bed.  Conner decided that he could probably build our house much more quickly and more efficiently than what we are doing, so he decided to show us a blue print.

I dunno.  I think Conner may have something here.  Wonder if it's too late to hire him. ;)

We put the kids to bed and enjoyed a nice quiet romantic dinner, courtesy of Jen.

Sushi, Salad, Wine and Carrot Cake (much of this went un-pictured, sorry.)

It was a lovely evening and we told Jen to PLEASE ask us to babysit anytime!  I don't think she realizes that she's actually doing us a favor.

Today was another great day, I woke up early for a Body Pump Class, met my sister and dad for our monthly Father/Daughter Breakfast and spent the afternoon shopping with my sister.

Thank goodness life is taking a turn for the best.  It was rough there for awhile. ;) Thanks for sticking by me these past few weeks and for all of your support.  The ups, the downs, you guys are always there!
