Keep On Keep On

I have to apologize for my lack in regularity with posting.  It has been one of the most stressful and unending weeks but its almost over.  I'm sorry to say, I'm still not ready to talk about it, but I will be. I promise.

In the meantime, my appetite has been so out of whack and I'm blaming this mostly on stress.  Meals have been leftovers, bowls of cereal, and random bites of things here and there.  Nothing really worth talking about.

I do remember eating this lovely little fall creation a few days ago though so I guess this one is worth mentioning.

Kashi Autumn Harvest, Pear, TJ's Spiced Applesauce, Tj's Honey Greek Yogurt, Granola, Almond butter

Tonight, Toly and I had our date night.  I'm really beginning to appreciate our mid week dates, especially now.  It's hard loosing that sense of intimacy now that we are living with my parents. I feel like we never really get to be alone or talk, so having a date night every Wednesday is actually the best thing for us.

This was not an option tonight, it was mandatory!

We went to one of my favorite restaurants, Cafe Magnolia.  I ordered the Coconut Shrimp Salad which had sliced strawberries, roasted asparagus, toasted coconut and sliced almonds.

For dessert, we split the Lemon Berry Mascarpone Torte.  It was delicious, light, refreshing and a perfect ending to the evening.

I'll hopefully be back tomorrow with a more normal day to share.  Ugh, just keep on keep on! That's what I tell myself. :)

<3 you all!

  4. Yay for date nights with the Hubs!

Before we were married, we both lived with our parents. Intimacy was a word neither of us knew.

  6. To keep it clean I will say that keeping the fires burning while living with the parents is not an easy task. I think the date nights will save your sanity.

I'm sorry things are so stressful right now girl and I hope it's not related to the new house.

  7. Losing that intimacy can be very very hard. My BF is long distance so whenever we visit it means staying with roommates or my parents...totally not the alone time we need.

You can make it though!! Keep truckin'
