My Day-Sleep, Eat, Sleep

It was a lazy Sunday here.  Toly had to be up and out early to drive his parents to New Jersey but he was kind and didn't make too much noise so I could sleep in.  Okay, so maybe the Tylenol I chugged last night had something to do with my slumber, but either way, it was good to sleep.

I woke up hungry.  No surprise there as I usually find myself quite hungry when I'm sick.

2 Nature's Path Waffles, 1/2 Mashed Banana, Berries, Dark Chocolate Almond Butter, Granola

Trying to eat lots of vitamin C so the grapefruit was more of an obligatory addition.

I actually started to feel a lot better after I ate and decided I wanted to try and get some kind of movement in before my burst of energy wore off.  Body Pump would be the best choice because I wasn't feeling cardio in the least.  I did take it pretty easy today and just allowed myself to get in a good workout without pushing myself.

When I got home, I showered and realized I was quite hungry again.

Is it me or do I always seem to crave protein after Body Pump?

I had tuna on the mind so tuna salad is what I made.

My Tuna Salad consists of 1 can of Chunk Lite Tuna, 2 TBL Greek Yogurt, 1 TBL Dijon, Celery, Carrots, Capers, Cabbage

I ate this open faced on a sandwich thin along with some grapes and Sunflower Basil Organic Crackers.

After lunch, I didn't have much energy left to do anything but lay on the couch, watch Christmas movies and sleep.

After a nice long nap, I woke up and started on dinner.

Toly would be home and I knew he would be hungry but I wanted to keep it simple since the game was on as well.

I decided to make a few pizza's and a big salad for everyone.

Spinach, Artichoke, Mushroom, Feta

Pepperoni, Bacon and Mozzarella

My plate (x 2)

I think I shall end this lazy day with a cup of hot coco with a side car of Tylenol.

Hope you had a fantastic weekend!!
