A few weeks ago, Jason from CSN Stores (www.csnstores.com) contacted me about doing a product review for the Kalorik 50 oz. Brushed Stainless Steel Blender.
Since my ancient Oyster Blender had recently bit the dust, this ideal opportunity couldn't have come at a better time. Smoothie and Green Monster season is just beginning, so having a good blender is a must.
Look wise, the blender was very appealing. I really liked the brushed stainless steel bottom and the black features. Very modern and sharp!
For only having one knob, the manual was rather detailed. There are two settings, 1-2. (1 being the lower speed and 2 being the higher) as well as a P (Pulse setting). I think simplicity in kitchen appliances are best so I appreciated this.
As pretty as this was, the real test was going to be how it held up to the blendage power.
I tested my first use with a Chocolate Cherry Bomb!
I set the speed to high (2) and within 2 min, the drink was smooth, thick and creamy.
The blender did a great job with speed, consistency and crushing the ice. The spinach was also extremely well blended and didn't leave any bits unblended. I was very impressed with the speed as well. Compared to my last one, this shaved so much time off my smoothie making time.
My only complaint is that when I went to open the lid, it seemed to stick and when I finally pried it open, the contents of my drink splashed all over me.
Other than that, this blender is a great product!
Thanks Jason for allowing me to review the Klaorik Stainless Steel Blender.
Bring on the Green Monsters! :)
